Just had this carb rebuilt. it seems my secondaries are not fully closing after being open, which results in a little high idle. I have tried several types of lube for the butterflies. Any body know how to correct

First make sure your secondardy lenage is not bent and holding them open. On most holly's, there is a screw, that will adjust the secondary so some air will flow. make sure this not the problem. I don't know if its a macanicial secondary or vacuum asist. If vacuum assit make sure the rod coming from the vacuum diafarm is not coming to full stop dwn. If thats not it the trottle shaft is bent, and you can tweak the shaft. let me know
