I have a 1961 ford 1 ton truck and it has a straight 6 and a 4speed will a 1973 390 bolt up to it? I have a motor that's about to go out in my 79 f350 and alredy have a nice 390, but it won't bolt to a 400 style bell housing. I don't want to spend much money on the truck for it won't be on the road it is just a play/wood hualer. Can anyone help me out, so I don't have to spend hours taking out the motor and transmission and then not hook up?
