I'm looking for a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible.

I'm looking for a specific car that would have resided in the Macomb, Illinois area during the 70's and was sold probably 10 years ago or so by a local man namaed Kerr. It was kept in a barn for a number of years and deteriorated badly, but I've heard it has been at least partially restored. Unfortunately, I do not have any VIN or other pertinent information. Would you have any suggestions on how I could go about locating this car? My father bought if for me when I was in high school (graduated in '71). He is now 88 and I would like to attempt to find the car and possibly purchase it. Any help would be appreciated.
