Just wondering if it could be found. posted: November 13, 2008       Answers (2)   nomadsrule      I am not sure if Ford's Motor # and V.I.N. were the same in that year,but I am reasonably sure that they were,you might want to check with your local license office,some states will run a search for a small fee,if not stop by a used car lot ,and ask them if they will run a Car - Fax for you,normal charge to do this is $ 25.00. Hope this helps. posted:  November 19, 2008   1bossman      most DMV's dont go back that far.and car fax wont help you cause the vin# used is not 13 digits like they use today.
