from what i can tell it seems like a normal mustang, made in dearborn, candy apple red with a stock 289. what i cant seem to figure out is it has factory wiring for fog lights and still has the switch. the lights are long gone up front but it seems as though the front end has been partially replaced, im assuming a minor wreck. then it has the louvered hood with the turn signals. and a pop open gas cap on the back! im just not sure why it has these things. one could say someone just added the hood and the gascap. but how would you explain the factory fog light wiring and switch? am i just reading into this? or is there something to it?

It could be a cali. special. But they had cougar tail lamps.

Could be an old GT that someone robbed the fog lights out of OR it could be an old mustang that someone wanted to make into a GT so they added the parts. Either way, as suggested, it would be best to have it documented by the vin numbers if thats possible?
