1976 455 into My 1966 Lemans?
i have a complete engine (455) from a 1976 Grand Safari Wagon, is this engine and trans a direct bolt up for my 1966 Lemans?

the wagon trans is longer for sure .wish had more time to do more but time is limited.

Hi It will pretty much bolt in but you may run into some issues with the trans like the other guy said but should bolt to your crossmember without any change in that.You may have to cut the driveshaft because of the longer trans.You may also have power steering issues no real big deal on that unless you have manual in the car you are putting it in.It should be not a bad change over maybe a few wires here and there.I am sure the motor you are putting in has an HEI distributor thats just a wire change no big deal and actually most like the end of the wire all in all should be pretty simple.
