55 Chevy Truck 2nd series swaping body over to a Chevy 72 rolling chassie LOOKING FOR HELP PLEASE!
I have a 1955 Chevy Truck 2nd series that I want to a swap the body over to a 1972 rolling chassie,will this work and were do I start???? Thanks. ANY HELP PLEASE???? HAVE A Happy New Year!

In my opinion, full size chassis are to wide for early truck bodies, the tires tend to stick out to far. Start by measuring the wheel base (from the center of rear axle to the center of the front axle) on both trucks. then measure across each axle from wheel flange to wheel flange on each truck. if they are close it should work.(note* you can shorten the frame to correct the wheel base length.)

**Just so you know, I would use a Chevy S-10 chassis.
