Missing Vin and Trim Tag!
I have a 1969 gto with protectoplate, I bought the car 7 years ago there was no vin or trim tag. How do i go about getting replacement tags?

The trim tag you can get reproduced, after you get a vin tag off of a wrecked one out of a salvage yard. some states do offer a replacement number, but this makes your car worth almost nothing.

I can only tell of my issues with a 66 ranchero with missing vin in california. This may still apliy to you
There are numbers stamped on the frame, that the highway patrol or other law enforcement people can find
and reissue you the orriginal numbers but not nessescerily the original plate,which did not effect the value
of my car. hope this helps,oldshool
