Did the 1963 Tempest have a 4-cylinder engine and the tranny in the rear?

the engine was in front with adriveshaft that flexed to slear floor of car transaxle was in front of the tourge converter that hung out the back .pinnion shaft was holloow so driveshaft could go through.the 4 cyl engine was half of a 8 missing one bank of cylinders.
