Just got a 59 fairlane and trying to figure out which engine it has
It is a real nice restore with a small v 8 but there are no visable tags or anything to verify the engine size.
Any ideas would be helpful.

the easiest way is the vin tag on the left front body pillar. the first two digits of the vin number indicated the engine. ford didnt use any engine identification tags for the engine itself. does it have a 2 barrel carb. or a 4 barrel carb.? this will help narrow it down.

if it has a 2 barrel carb. it could either be a 292 cu. in. or a 332 cu. in. V-8. if it has a 4 barrel carb. it would be 352 cu. in.
