If yes take coil wire out of cap but leave in coil place end of wire about 1/2" over block or head chrank engine if no spark check coil wire for resistentce and plug wires while your at it ,if they test good replace coil ,hope this helps OLDSCHOOL. posted:  April 9, 2010
