try running a jump wire from battery to positive side of coil. if you get spark check wire under dash were column connects to fuse panel

replaced points, battery, cables, plugs

with a testlight and key on check for power at your points if yes with pints closed open them with something non metalic should have a slite spark if not replace points AND condenser!!! If yes take coil wire out of cap but leave in coil place end of wire about 1/2" over block or head chrank engine if no spark check coil wire for resistentce and plug wires while your at it ,if they test good replace coil ,hope this helps OLDSCHOOL.
