Chevrolet production totals, after 1957, are available only in the following form, which indicates all series. There are no breakouts per series, model or engine type. For 1958 the totals were: 4 door sedan-491,441; 2 door sedan-256,182; 4 door station wagon-170,473; sports coupe-142,592; sports sedan-83,330; convertible-55,989 and 2 door station wagon-16,590. The Nomad wagon was now a four door style with conventional styling, but high-level trim. The Nomad was actually a part of the separate station wagon series, but had Impala trim with Nomad rear fender nameplates.
