Help! I'm looking for some advice about buying a Classic Truck for my niece.
I don't know too much about classic trucks, but my niece would really like one for her birthday. What would be a good one for her to get and what should you look for that will have little maintenance?

your best bet is probably something that is mostly original, rust free and hasn't been cut up by somebody who didn't know what they were doing. some updates would be nice-like a 12 volt system/disc brakes, etc..., but for most older chevy and ford trucks all that can be bought from a catalog as bolt-in replacements with minimal or no fabrication required.

If you or your niece dont know too much about classics I would just go buy a mid 90's truck and let her enjoy it, otherwise plan on spending 15-30K for a decent truck that isnt going to cost you too much time and money in maintenance!
