Where is a good place to find an old ride (40's to 50's) and maybe engine still running?
trying to get into the hot rod thing. I am a body man by trade just looking for a solid 40's to 50's car with the motor running or little work to get it running. And if I could find one what would be the average price?

Is there a specific make of vehicle you are searching for? There are a lot of good old rides here on oldride.com.
You might also want to check out a Hot Rod club in your area (if there are any), they might be able to help you get your start.
Good luck.

I tell you what, when I got the fever for ol rides, I just took a ride to country outside the city limits, for about two months on the weekends till I found an old beater under a tree and offered the old man that just wanted it off his property a little cash, and thus a hobby was born....
