what is the measerment- from a short box to a long box for a 1956 gmc stepside?
i own a 1956 gmc step-side, apparently 0nly ten were available in 1956 ??& i measure inside floor at 7ft 7.5inches is this short or long box?

G|M|C is wonderful about sending build sheets on any vehicle, as well as, sending the entire 1956 manufacturors build options of everything from cowls.windows,bumpers, etc.. It is very cool to know all optuions so you dont get too far away from OEM parts or upgrades.
