I was all set to replace motor with new 235, now someone tells me if stay with 6 cyl, I should go to 250. Suggestions?

Don't know much about 6 cyl, but I never heard of 250 either.
I'm flip flopping between 6cyl & small block 8cyl. Thanks for reply.
?? Not sure I have ever heard of the 250 6cylinder?. Why not go with a mid-50's 261? This was a truck motor but had a larger piston bore and a higher-lift camshaft than the 235. Alot of early rods used the 261 because of the torque.
