THE SMALL WIRE CONNECTS TO THE DIST SIDE OF COIL ON ONE END AND TO THE POINTS ON THE OTHER .THE ONE IN CENTER OF CAP GOES TO LARGE HOLE IN CENTER OF COIL

The hot wire that provide's power to the coil, connects to the (s) side of the starter, goe's up to the postive side of the coil. The negitive side of the coil goe's to the distrbutor. If you are not geting power to the coil, check the fuse able link, in the wire coming from the starter to the coil. the red wire is the one going down too the starter. the black wire to the coil from the distubutor.
