It is a 1951. The 1952 had a slightly wider chrome strip on the front fender. Dad had a 1948, 1951 and 1953 Pontiac and my 1st car was a 1952 Pontiac.

The grill identifies it as 1951(wingshaped center). It appears the script says Pontiac Eight on the front fender, it would have to be a Streamliner or a Chieftain. Streanliner did not come in a 4dr sedan.
So its a Chieftain.

Model # 8U, body/style 2569D, 4dr 6 pass, wt 3370 lbs.(this is only specs for 4dr V8 sedan)
