I need to find toggle switch for backup lights on 81 trans am .Not on 350 turbo tranny. Has 350 eng.
There is no switch .Have console shift but was told that there was a column shift in this car. Is there such a thing for 1981 Trans am?

THE NUTURAL SAFETY SWITCH ON THE STEERING COLUMN HAS A PIAROF TABS THAT SERVES THE BACK UP LIGHTS. TRANS HAS ROD THAT CONNECTS TO COLUNM THAT OPERATES THIS SWITCH .UNLESS SAFETY SWITCH IS IN CONSUL THE IT IS PART OF THAT SWITCH..
