What is the ss body trim called located on the fenders of a 54 chev panel? I can't locate it on-lin
Spudder you were correct about the stainless trim on the 54. There are 3 pieces about 1.5" wide and parallel. Now---what is this called? valensage

these are just stainless trim i dont know if they have a unique name the large flat stainless pieces which you see alot of are called rock guardes, i dont know though how many chips they guarded againist since they were mostly above the running boards?

Right on Spudder, and not only did they not guard agin the rocks, they were probably put there for some unluckey young fella like myself to cut a finger or snag the washing rag on! My Pa wanted the chrome shiney.
Ps. I'll betcha you a whole heapa acorns that these little shiney strips won't be real easy to locate!!
