I have a Chev V8, casting #V0807SFA. It was sold to me as a 350.
I can't find any reference to the SFA letters at the end. Cna anyone help?

the fa was used on a 77 regal and century 350 cid 140 hp 2 barrel carb engine .there is a casting # on back of block left side .that could confirm or find this wrong.

Look on the back of the block above the oil filter, left side of motor, on top were the bell housing bolt's. There are numbers their. send them to me and i will look in my core, book and tell you what it is. Most 350's the last three number's would be 010.
