How do I estimate the value of an old car?
An old rusty 1948 Desoto, available to me, Just need a rough idea on how much to pay.

There a lot of factors that can come into play to estimate the value of any vehicle. When you say rusty, is it just a little rust or are the floor boards rusted thru? Is it a 2dr, 4dr, convertible?
One option you can take is looking at some price guides, here is one that will give you a rough estimate,
