1933 Chevrolet Master Eagle vin location if ID tags are missing?
Is there a place where the vin number is stamped into the frame on the 33 chevy's? The cowl tag has enough information to let me know it is a master eagle, but I don't know what the vin number is and need it to get it licensed.
Any information would be helpful.
thanks

Not sure about a frame # I do know there is a difference between a EAGLE and a MASTER at least in the coupes. On the Eagle model the stationary window channel between the vent and door window is absent. This model was produced only until end of FEB 33. I know on my coupe there is a ID tag nailed to the floor just inside the pass door mine is 1ca122278 there is also a stamp in the wood that matches the body # from the fire wall tag mine is 58. Good luck on finding some one who might know of a frame # local.

All 33 & others, the serial # is nailed to FLOOR on the Pass side under the carpet, about 6" ahead of the right corner of the seat. A # is first then a CA or CC ext. CA is a Master Eagle. If it has wheels in the fenders, it is a Master EAGLE Deluxe.
The plate on the Fire wall Gives the Paint Color, Body style & Some ACCs.
