My friend has a 1946 Dodge truck He said the state police stop and ran the title numbers. They checked out good, but he can't locate the vin plate. Any help is great,the truck has been restored and I might buy it but I don't know what it's value is.

PASSENGER CAR VIN IS ON HINGE PILLARS YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK AROUND THE DOOR HINGES BETWEEN ABOVE AND BELOW .CHECK BOTH SIDES ,CARS USED ONE SIDE ,THEN THE OTHER THE NEXT YEAR.
