does anyone know what the rubber boot that is in the steering knuckle that is like a universal joint is called or were they might sell this ?

I think what you are referring to is called a rag joint. Go to your local friendly parts house and ask them for a rag joint repair kit. Very inexpensive.
Isnt this just like the GM steering coupler? Or something completely different?
