1941 COE Ford. Vaccum Brake assist.
Hello. I have a Factory? mounted brake pedal booster that mounts under the cab on the frame rail. It looks like it assists braking as it pulls on the pedal lever off the master which is mounted directly infront of it. It has a hose fitting on the front and rear of the can. Does the vacumm IN line go to the rear of the motor from the breather cap on top of the fuel pump ? I tried hooking it up to a vaccum outlet under the carb, but the suction is too much and pulls the booster rod completely in , and pedal down which locks the brakes...help!!
