68 Cev van brake light issues
I have brake light issue in which they don't work at all 50% of the time just the right one works and 25% of the time the left one works. I have bypassed the switch checked all the wiring to and from the fuse box and could find no fault. All the signal & flashers work fine, is it possible that the problem could be in the the steering column.
Regards
Chris

Most of the time on light issues I find a ground problem. On older rigs corrosion in the light sockets happen as well. Have you unhooked the lights totally off of the circuit that feeds them and checked light assembly with a hot jumper wire. You could also check the wiring to them with a set of lights like you would put on a trailer. That might eliminate the steering column. Hope this helps a little.
