Ford Model T |
Beginning in 1903, the Ford Motor Company began using the first 19 letters of the alphabet to name new cars. In 1908, the Model T was born. America's beloved Model T was known for its "steadfastness," its enduring and endearing "sameness." The first production Model T Ford was assembled at the Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit on October 1, 1908. Over the next 19 years, Ford would build 15 million Model "T"s. The Model T endured with little change in its design and Henry Ford had definitely succeeded in his quest to build a car for the masses.
